Helpful tips for Run for Reading participants:
Packet pick up is Friday, April 4 from 4-6 pm and on race day from 7:30 – 8:45 am.
On race day, park across from the Library in Sharp Park or the Mall. Be sure to allow enough time to park, get to the library, pick up your packet if you are getting it Saturday, and get to the starting line before 9 am.
Remember that walkers start 2 minutes after runners. If you think you will run at all during the race, please register as a runner or change your registration to runner by calling the library at 321-4014 or emailing delta5K@dtdl.org.
Donations of new or gently used athletic shoes will be accepted on behalf of Heart and Sole, a charitable project of the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine (MSUCOM). Since 1999, MSUCOM has shipped more than 15,000 pairs of shoes to the poorest of the world’s people.
