Summer Reading

Libraries Rock!

Join us for our 2018 summer kick-off parties on Monday, June 11!  We’ll have games, crafts & snacks, plus sign up for the summer reading program and learn about our exciting line-up of summer events.
All ages: 10 am – 1 pm
Teens (ages 13-18): 6-7:30 pm

Registration for the Summer Reading Program starts June 11 and continues throughout the summer. Kids will get a prize just for signing up! Each child will get a reading log to keep track of their reading over the summer. After finishing each level, bring the log back to the library to receive fun prizes!  August 25 is the last day to turn in reading logs for prizes and enter the end-of-summer drawings.

Prizes include:
–mini drums
–streamer wands
–craft dough
–books . . . and more!

Every child that finishes the reading program will be entered into a grand prize drawing for additional prizes. Children can complete more than one reading log for additional chances in the drawing.

Babies & toddlers, tweens (ages 9-12), teens (ages 13-18), and adults have their own special reading logs and prizes, so bring the whole family to the library this summer!

Programs for all ages begin June 18.  Check out our online events calendar or stop in the library for a summer brochure to get all the details.
