Summer Reading Program 2011

This year’s Summer Reading Program is coming to an end.  Participants have until August 20 to turn in their reading logs for prizes and a chance to be entered into our grand prizes drawings.  Drawings will be held the week of August 22 and winners will be notified by phone.

Thanks also to the many Delta Township, Grand Ledge, and other greater Lansing area businesses who donated prizes, including: Biggby Coffee, Carrabba’s, Corner Cone, DeLuca’s, Domino’s Pizza, Eastwood Towne Center, Edru Skate-a-Rama, Family Video, Fun Tyme Adventure Park, Jersey Giant, McDonald’s, Meijer, NCG Eastwood Cinemas, Red Robin, Royal Scot Golf & Bowl, Twisters, Wal-Mart, and Zap Zone.

Thanks to our many performers and presenters who shared their knowledge and skills this summer. Special thanks to Delta Township Kiwanis, Mid-Michigan Art Guild, Kris Rzepczynski, Bruce Roth, Marie Papciak, Judi Bogart, Carolyn Donahue, and Sue Winkler for assisting with programs.

Much appreciation goes to our summer teen volunteers who worked over 375 hours providing assistance with programs and helping throughout the library.

Plan for another fun summer at the library in 2012.  The theme is “Dream Big – Read!”
