Home Brew Beer Contest & Tasting
Thank you to everyone who participated in our first Home Brew Beer Contest & Tasting. The event was a huge success with 11 different brewers entering 15 different Home Brews. Nearly 50 people attended the event to taste and sample the beer. Awards were given for People’s Choice and Best of Show (1st, 2nd, & 3rd) as chosen by a panel of judges.

1st place: Congratulations to Lee Streeter, the winner of our Home Brew Beer contest. His entry, Hazy Shade of Summer, an American Wheat style beer, was awarded best of show by a panel of judges.
2nd place: Clayton MacDonald, Freckles, Ginger-Strawberry Blonde
3rd place: Dan Buondono, Red Eye Rye, Pale Ale
People’s Choice: Richard Clark, Pumpkin Pie flavored, spiced, specialty ale
Runner-up: Jeremy Galloway, JG’s Golden Ale, Koelsch Style
Runner-up: Tom Payne, Harvest Ale, IPA
