Presenter Bios:
Bonnie Bucqueroux keeps trying to retire from Michigan State University’s School of Journalism, but she so enjoys working with the next generation of digital natives that it is hard for her to break free. Bucqueroux is a web pioneer who built her first website in August 1996, when there were only 100,000 sites on the web. She had the first campaign blog of anyone running for Congress when she ran as the Green Party candidate in her district in 2000. Bucqueroux continues to explore innovations online, including co-publishing Lansing Online News (http://lansingonlinenews.com) and Sustainable Farmer (http://sustainablefarmer.com).
Chris Singer is a stay-at-home dad for his 1 year-old daughter. When he’s not on daddy duty, he builds websites for small non-profit organizations. Chris’s website is Harambee Consulting (http://harambeeconsulting.com).
