DTDL Books By Mail

The Delta Township District Library’s Books by Mail program aims to bring library services to cardholders who are unable to leave their homes due to medical conditions.

To enroll, follow these simple steps:

  1. Get a note from your doctor, nurse or social worker which states that you are unable to leave your residence as a result of your medical condition.
  2. Submit your note and the Books by Mail Sign-Up Form to the Library .
  3. The DTDL Adult Services staff will contact you so you can tell us about the type of books you prefer.

DTDL Books by Mail is a free service provided by the Library with support from the Friends of the Library. Books are delivered to your residence and returned to the Library via the U.S. Postal Service with prepaid postage.

Books are checked out for an extended period of 4 weeks. If you require more time, you may contact Circulation at 517‐321‐4014 to request a renewal.

Lost or damaged items are the responsibility of the patron.

Items may be placed on hold online through our library catalog or by contacting the Adult Services Desk at 517‐321‐4014 ext. 4. The items will be mailed as soon as they become available.
