Michigan Jobs and Career Portal

This state-sponsored site is a starting place where you can search for jobs and find financial aid for school and job training resources. You can learn about in-demand careers, new occupations and regional job fairs.

Michigan Talent Bank

Job seekers can search through over 15,000 new job openings monthly and post resumes for the over 40,000 employers who use the service.  Employers can sign up to search more than 600,000 resumes to find their candidate.  This is a free service administered by the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Growth and Michigan Works.

This site includes everything from the type of skills need to for each job option to the amount of education/experience typically required to the occupational outlook for that career field. A great resource for learning about new fields and finding out what it will take to get the job of your dreams.
