Summer Reading

DTDL’s 2020 Summer Program may look a little different than previous years, but we still plan to offer a variety of opportunities for all ages to read, learn, and have fun over the summer months. This year we invite you to use your imagination to tell stories, escape to faraway lands, celebrate heroes, and add a little magic to your life.

Summer Reading Program
DTDL will be using an online reading program this summer called Beanstack. All ages can participate, from babies to adults. Earn points by reading, completing activities, and writing reviews. Accumulate points to win prizes and enter drawings! The DTDL Summer Challenge begins June 1.
A note about prizes: This site will be updated with prize pick-up information throughout the summer, including when and how prizes can be obtained in the library or via curbside pickup.

Summer Events
DTDL will be hosting a variety of virtual summer events that you can participate in online or offline from home. Programs will include storytimes, STEAM activities, book clubs, online performances, and more. All events will be listed on our online calendar.

The summer program is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
