DTDL is teaming up with Families Forward at Community Mental Health Authority of Clinton, Eaton, and Ingham Counties to offer fun and engaging skills-based groups at the library. These groups will help youth of all ages learn practical skills to help them manage life stress, improve their social skills, and have fun doing it. Currently, groups are being offered for ages 7-10 and 11-14. Both groups meet weekly on Thursdays, 4:30-5:30 pm.
CMH staff is also available at the library on Thursday afternoons to connect families to community resources and answer questions about accessing behavioral health services. No appointment needed and all are welcome.
Please visit our Stress Busters page to learn more about these new services.
