Homeschoolers’ Open House

Monday, September 26 at 6:30 pm All ages. Find out some of the resources and services the library offers that can help you fulfill your homeschooling goals. Chat with library staff about future homeschooling programs and how we can better help you. There will be activities and crafts for kids, so bring them along.

Volunteer Fair

Find out which volunteer opportunities are right for you at our sixth annual Volunteer Recruitment Fair on Tuesday, September 27 at 6 p.m. Nearly 30 organizations from the Lansing area will be on hand to answer questions about their organization and opportunities. dtdl.org/vol-fair

Printing & Copying

As of June 1, 2016, the charge for printing (B&W & color) and copying (B&W) will be 25 cents per page.

Teen Anime Night

Friday, September 30, 5:30-7:30 pm Ages 13-18. Delve into the world of Japanese and Japanese-inspired animation. Do some crafty projects while you watch, make candy sushi, and try out some authentic Japanese snacks - plus popcorn!

Are ye a #LibraryLubber?

In anticipation of Talk Like a Pirate Day on September 19, Mango’s Pirate Council is searching for the best library-lubbin pirates in the land. Mango is giving away iPads to mark the initiation into the pirate collective, so to prove your pirate prowess, access Mango’s Pirate course through your library, and create a video showcasing ye’ skills. dtdl.org/mango.
