Friends' Bookstore

About the Bookstore

The Friends' Bookstore is located in the lower level of the Delta Township District Library. It is stocked entirely with donations from the community. The bookstore is run completely by volunteers, with over 140 people volunteering their time to sort and organize materials, stock shelves, and run the cash register. Donations

Donations of used books are greatly appreciated and can be dropped off at any time at the Circulation Desk.  For large donations (5 or more boxes), please make advanced arrangements.

We prefer that the items are not wet, dirty or musty.  Also, we find there is very little demand for:

• Harlequin romances
• Reader’s Digest condensed books
• Encyclopedias
• Textbooks
• Law books
• National Geographic magazines
• Magazines older than 1 year
