Battle of the Books 2021
The Delta Township District Library and Grand Ledge Area District Library are excited to present Battle of the Books 2021: Best of Battle! Our 13th annual program will look a little different than years past, but we think you’ll enjoy our new spin on Battle, with engaging reads, fun activities, and friendly competition.
Battle of the Books is a fun trivia competition that tests your book knowledge. Read books from our 2021 Battle booklist, participate in virtual and at-home activities, and compete in fun trivia competitions on Zoom. The program and booklist are geared for kids in 4th grade & up, teens, and adults. For our 2021 program, you can participate individually or as a family team.

Read the 2021 Battle Books
See the list here along with information on how to get copies. This year’s booklist includes favorites from the past 12 years of Battle. Read one or read them all! Get your friends and family to read them too so you can talk about them.
Attend Virtual Events
Join us for a visit with Jennifer A. Nielsen, author of The False Prince, and a book chat where you can discuss the books you’ve read with other readers. See our list of programs and how to register here. We also have some ideas for at-home activities the whole family can enjoy. All program attendees will be entered in a drawing to win Barnes & Noble gift cards.
Let’s Battle!
This year’s battles will be Kahoot trivia games held over Zoom. Participants can play individually or as a family team. As always, the only knowledge you need is from reading the books. Learn more about the battles and register here.
Please note: You do NOT need to register your team for the whole program, as in previous years. Simply register for the individual virtual events that you/your family would like to attend.
